A digital platform with a new look and new content, best able to convey the diversity of the activities of the Teatro Grande.
On the 14th October and the 16th October, respectively at 8PM and 3.30PM, the Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will be staged with the direction of Mario Martone, reprise by Raffaele di Florio, scenes and costumes by Sergio Tramonti, light design by Pasquale Mari and choreographies by Anna Redi. The set-up is a reprise and sees the co-production of the Theatres of Opera Lombardia. The opera establishes an extention of the thin fil rouge characterizing the Opera Season 2022, as it shows the downside of the coin, the male point of view that tries and overwhelm and seduce the whole female universe. Don Giovanni is nothing but a Pollione who never repented, surrounded by women who fall into his power or choose him. The young Riccardo Bisatti will conduct the Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali and some similarly young talents: Guido Dazzini, Don Giovanni, Adolfo Corrado (Leporello), Didier Pieri (Don Ottavio), Elisa Verzier (Donna Anna), Marianna Mappa (Donna Elvira), Gesua Gallifoco (Zerlina), Francesco Samuele Venuti (Masetto) and Pietro Toscano (Commendatore).
