VIRGILIO SIENI | QUADRI DALLA PASSIONE

Through the study of paintings in exhibitions depicting Pietà and Resurrection, the encounter between the choreographer and the splendidly diverse bodies of the interpreters will infuse the choreographies with a dialogue between the fragility of the young dancers and the figurative motifs that have characterized the traditional representation of Evangelical scenes as a metaphor of man’s journey on earth.
