A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Friday 4th at 20.30 and Sunday 6th at 15.30 A Midsummer night’s dream of Benjamin Britten will be presented for the first time at Teatro Grande. The Opera – based on Shakespeare, Britten and Peter Pears libretto – will be settled with the historic scenery of Teatro dell’Elfo with direction of Elio De Capitani. Supporting an innovation itinerary, once again a young and famous Conductor, Francesco Cilluffo, and a young and well-known cast un cast made by Raffaele Pe with the role of Oberon and Anna Maria Sarra with the role of Tytania.

As advanced, the complex project of remembrance of Shakespeare anniversary includes  on 3rd and 5th November, the theatre piece of the same name Sogno di una notte di mezza estate that will be realised in partnership with CTB of Brescia, with the same scenery and direction.
