PREMIERE

A new commission of Teatro Grande Foundation to the composer Mauro Montalbetti. The project is set in two cycles of residence at Teatro Grande of Brescia and a group of young and well-known jazz musicians that at first will be asked to rewrite some short chamber compositions of Montalbetti. Secondly the group of improvisers will be involved in the hard task to play a new composition of Montalbetti inside which improvisation and writing linked to personal and eclectic composing language (that marked several works of Brescia composer) live together.
