An anthology of dancing between geometry and swirl where the air element is a paradigm of reflection on the boundaries of control. Streams and buffers, fans and drones, birds and grand-jeté become allegories about the connection between choreography and dance in an investigation that bounces between repeatability of gesture and improvisation, between writing and interpretation. Francesca Pennini wrote a notebook of elementary schools on which recorded dozens of never executed choreographies. A time machine for an impossible archeology that falls on the scene in a variety of odd possibilities. The body is put to the test by borrowing the principles of thermodynamics, ranging from gymnastic plasticity to the more vaporous and ephemeral dynamics. Between contortions and efforts a respiratory exchange that blends the volumes between body and space, scene and audience in a mobile geography, suspended and decisive, fluctuating and deposited. An irreverent and ironic work that has confirmed the talent of Francesca Pennini.
