Visionary, ancient and modern opera, Die Zauberflöte is a masterpiece of extraordinary complexity and at the same time a fairy tale appreciated by an audience of all ages. The fabulous and dreamlike Opéra Royale de Walloni’s staging bears two creative signatures, with the direction, scenes and choreography of Cécile Roussat and Julien LubekElodie Monet will support the scenes, costumes are curated by Sylvie Skinazi and lighting is by Mark Gingold. The show will be performed in its original language with Italian subtitles. Maestro Federico Maria Sardelli has been called to conduct the great German fable, as a conductor with vast experience, especially in classic and baroque repertory. The voices cast were selected in part through the 68th Contest for Young Opera Singers of Europe: the roles of Tamino and Pamina will be performed by Klodjan Kaçani and Enkeleda Kamani respectively, the role of Regina della Notte will be attributed to Maria Sardaryan and Daniele Terenzi will be Papageno. Giulia Bolcato is Papagena, Marcello Nardis is Monostatos and the three dames Maria Sole Mainini, Francesca Pierpaoli and Alessandra Andreetti.
