ITALIAN PREMIERE
Reinhild Hoffmann, an emblematic figure of the theatre, has created for the Ballet du Grand Théâtre a 2017 reimagining of a historical piece created in 1983 and dedicated to the famous operatic performer, Maria Callas, for a night of dance that is not to be missed. Performed by the 22 extraordinary dancers of the Ballet de Genève, the choreography pays tribute to a woman who was both muse and pioneer. 35 years after the original creation of Brema, the project regains a new fascination by staging a show that is not a biographical work: Callas is an ode to the theatre and focuses on all aspects of the life of the singer, which over the years have made her a legend.
