Zaide

Among the new initiatives of 2020, a rare title stands out: Zaide by Mozart. The precious unfinished work by the great composer will be on Teatro Grande stage on 10^th and 12^th December. The direction is by Graham Vick, one of the most important names in Opera direction panorama, that wants to tell about our time through a forbidden love story and a tyrant Sultan. The text had been rebuild by Italo Calvino in 1981. Giuliana Giandolfi will play the main role, Giovanni Sala will be Gomatz, Vincenzo Nizzardo Allazim, Osmin Pierpaolo Martella.

A new live streaming is scheduled on Friday 20^th November at 17.00, this time from Teatro Sociale di Como. Zaide, the co-production of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and OperaLomabrdia Theatres, wil be broadcast. As announced, the streaming on 20th November is a special preview and it will be available on operalombardialive.it and Regione Lombardia Mediaportal.
