Facciamo la banda #7

On Sunday 19 May at 5 p.m., the students of the Facciamo la Banda project will take to the stage of the Teatro Grande for the traditional annual end-of-course performance. The educational project, born from the fruitful collaboration between the Fondazione del Teatro Grande and the Banda Cittadina Isidoro Capitanio, allows young people aged between 9 and 12 years old to approach the study of a musical instrument and to try the experience of being part of a band corps. The music lessons, which began last October in the historic spaces of the Grande and at the Band’s headquarters, offer the young students the opportunity to prepare for a final performance of the academic year and to face a prestigious audience such as the city’s Teatro Massimo.
