Teatro Grande di Brescia

ZOO/Thomas Hauert | Troglodyte_Zaungast/Zaunkönig

For the first time in Brescia and as an Italian premiere, the new work by ZOO / Thomas Hauert, a historical figure on the international choreographic scene. Known for the depth and rigor of his choreographic movement, Hauert loves to explore and seek connections. Hence also his relationship with music, which plays an important role in his work. In his new solo, Thomas Hauert deepens a creative process already present in his last two creations: making the psyche, emotions and the unconscious the driving force of movement. The starting point of Troglodyte is a kind of complex psychological conundrum, centered on the experience of the position of the outsider, the one who is not part of the group, the one who watches from the outside.
