Diego Tortelli | PSYCHO

In his new creation PSYCHO, choreographer Diego Tortelli turns his attention to something seemingly ephemeral and fundamental: breathing. But as the title suggests, PSYCHO also explores the other side of the coin: what takes our breath away, blocks our inner rhythm, and distorts our perception of ourselves. It is a zoom on physical and inner details, mediated by the body of a dancer; a visual and danced pars pro toto, but also its opposite—a totum pro parte—which is transformed under the gaze of the audience through bodily memories and their patterns. An engaging experience that reflects—through the physicality of dance—the reality and personal experience of each individual.
