Ensemble del Teatro Grande

With the coordination of Sandro Laffranchini, the Ensemble del Teatro Grande was created in 2012 as a resident musical formation of the Teatro Grande Foundation. The group explores the chamber repertoire in formations from duos to quintets with piano. In the Ensemble concerts particular attention is given to the popularizing aspects of the masterpieces of music, from the 1700s to the contemporary – without forgetting works by lesser known authors – as well as new proposals by Italian composers and by both emerging and established authors of the Brescian territory . The Ensemble hosts young talents and nationally and internationally famous musicians.
