Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra is the most ancient Symphony Orchestra of the UK and it has been the cultural heart of Liverpool since 1840. An eclectic Orchestra that feels comfortable both in classic and contemporary repertory, and that has been conducted since 2006 by Vasily Petrenko, considered one of the greates conducters of his generation.

The programme will include the extraordinary Concerto per violoncello e orchestra of Edward Elgar with the young and multi-award-winning Austrian-Persian talent Kian Soltani, as solist.
