A hundred years after the end of the conflict, the composition Still Requies by Mauro Montalbetti is a work of complex architecture that wants to focus on the enormous tragedy of the First World War. Through the fusion of several forms – masterfully performed by the tenor Mirko Guadagnini, the actor Marco Baliani, the Ensemble Altrevoci and the Liederiadi Chorus, directed by Eddi De Nadai – the work is realised in a secular requiem with great charm.
