Il sogno is a jpuyful gathering of three improvisers that share a common view: searching balance constantly tight among jazz, experimentation and provocation. Four years after the first appearence in Italy at Festa dell’Opera and the immediately following LP realease Birthday – coproduced by Fondazione del Teatro Grande di Brescia – Maniscalco, Jacobson and Laumann are back to face this delicate ensemble, bringing with themselves their own individual experience beyond the borders of jazz.
