Ensemble del Teatro Grande

The Teatro Grande Ensemble was created in 2012 as a resident musical formation of the Teatro Grande Foundation. The group explores the chamber repertoire in the various formations, even the most obsolete ones. In the concerts of the Ensemble particular attention is given to the popular aspect of the masterpieces of music, from the 18th century till nowadays – facing musical journeys that take place either in the form of tributes to composers who have made the history of music, or by geographical areas, or by highlighting a particular instrument and addressing a program that puts it in the right spot. The Ensemble hosts young talents and illustrious musicians from the national and international scene in its concerts.
