Cristian Chironi | Bergamo-Brescia Drive

Using a Fiat 127 Special, designed by Piò Manzù in the seventies, the artist Cristian Chironi embarks on a journey with the public between the cities of Bergamo and Brescia.
The Fiat 127 – customized by Chironi according to the chromatic combinations typical of the houses of Le Corbusier in which Chironi lived and artistically worked in twelve countries around the world thanks to a project with the Fondation Le Corbusier – will travel between the two territories hosting in the car in each session three people who will join the artist and a selection of different co-pilots.
A project that unites participants in a shared experience and invites them to reflect on themes ranging from migration and memory to the construction of a house and the sense of place.
