The chamber music of the Great Theater Ensemble will be the protagonist of the GRANDEBRIXIA summer festival. The first date will be Friday, August 4, and on this occasion the Ensemble will “yield the stage” to an exceptional duo, that of violinist Piercarlo Sacco and guitarist Andrea Dieci. The two musicians will perform three violin sonatas by Niccolò Paganini – including the famous Sonata a preghiera, which the Genoese composer wrote inspired by a Chorus by Gioachino Rossini – and three pieces by Astor Piazzolla that represent an ideal blend of traditional Argentine tango and influences from the Paris of the first half of the last century.
