Teatro Grande di Brescia

Maniscalco/Bigoni/Solborg

The trio is made by improvisers-composers of great sensitivity, that met in Copenhagen in 2012 and immediately staterd to follow a communion based on space, shade and melody. A real poetry of chamber contemporary jazz that includes uncommon textures, piano preparations and micro-tonality. A balance almost architectural between abstraction and warmth, as aim and mark of this group, whose music doesn’t care about clear blocks among genres: jazz is present in the roots of the trio but appears fragmented and indulgent in its thousands drifts. A music conversation for who is interested in most misterious nature of dialogue.

Emanuele Maniscalco piano

Francesco Bigoni tenor sax and clarinet

Mark Solborg guitar
